What is Access Control?
Access Control refers to the practice of restricting entrance to a property, a building, or a room to authorised persons. Access Control can be achieved by a person through technological means such as an electronic keypad, proximity card or remote control. These access control systems can be integrated into home automation systems, intercom systems and electrical systems.
McCormick Concepts design, supply and install both intercoms and Access Control Systems. Our skilled technicians hold open Australian Communications Authority (ACA) cabling licence to ensure a quality installation. An ACA open registration was formerly know as an Austel Licence.
Intercom Systems are an easy way to communicate around the home. Imagine cooking in the kitchen and wanting your children to come to the dinner table. Instead of leaving what your doing to track them down or yelling over music or through the house - how easy would it be to press a button and hear them on the other end? What if your upstairs working and someone comes to the door with an important delivery? You can't hear over your music or the radio and the delivery man leaves and you have to go pick up your package later. How easy would it have been if they could have reached you over the intercom from your front door? You can make life in the home simplier with an intercom system and also feel safer by knowing who's at your door before you open it!
