What is a Data Network?
The most simplistic definition for a data network is an electronic communication process that allows for the orderly transmission and receiving of data, such as letters, spreadsheets, and other types of documents. These networks are the backbone of most offices but are becoming more and more popular in residential homes. Data networks usually point back to a main location where a 'switch' or 'router' is located for distribution. In most cases internet access is provided by an ADSL Modem into the system.
McCormick Concepts design, supply and install both phone and data networks. Our skilled technicians hold open Australian Communications Authority (ACA) cabling licence to ensure a quality installation. An ACA open registration was formerly know as an Austel Licence.
