Surround
sound systems come in three main layouts; 5.1 speaker set up, 6.1
speaker set up or 7.1 speaker set up. This refers to the number of
speakers to subwoofer ratio and the way in which the speakers are
aligned throughout the room.
For
example, a 5.1 system with speakers would consist of a left speaker, a
centre speaker and a right speaker at front of the room and two
speakers at the back of the room. The 6.1 surround system includes a
rear centre speaker while the 7.1 surround sound system includes two
rear centre speakers.

Surround
sound systems designed and installed by McCormick Concepts include an
18 month warranty on installation. If repair is required on equipment
under warranty, McCormick Concepts will come and un-install the unit
and organise the repair at the convenience of the client, at no extra
cost.
